Parts Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Motors Parts Manager to lead the parts operations in our busy 29-bay automotive dealership while overseeing a team of seven parts employees. This position includes a competitive base salary complemented by a strong performance-based bonus program. The role calls for strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of GM parts processes and programs.
What You'll Do:
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stocking levels and manage parts flow to support shop productivity
- Monitor and optimize months’ supply, obsolescence, and fill rates
- Ensure compliance with GM programs and inventory best practices
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support a seven-member parts team
- Promote a positive, collaborative work environment
- Coach employees on processes, performance, and customer service
Accessory Control & Growth
- Manage accessory accuracy, reporting, and reconciliation
- Drive revenue growth through improved processes and accountability
