We truly appreciate the contribution new immigrants make to Canada – that’s why our Welcome to Canada Program gives new Canadian Permanent Residents or Temporary Workers that have a valid work permit a $1,000 bonus* towards the purchase or lease of an eligible new Chevrolet or Cadillac vehicle.

Ontario Motor Sales is pleased to announce the renewal of the Student Bonus Discount Program for the 2023 calendar year. This program is available to eligible students up to FOUR YEARS after graduation on most new and previously owned Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles and can provide a $500.00 bonus.

ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS:

All students currently enrolled in, or recent graduates from:
i) High School
- Must be a full-time student at a recognized high school, or
- Must have graduated from a full-time recognized high school program within the last four years.
-Eligibility period will be measured from the date shown on the graduate’s diploma.
ii) Accredited College
- Part-time and full time students (working towards a diploma for a program consisting of the equivalent of two years or 16 months of in class study) or
- Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time College within the last four years.
-Eligibility period will be measured from the date shown on the graduate’s diploma

iii) Accredited University or CEGEP

- Part-time and full time students (working towards a diploma for a program consisting of the equivalent of two years or 16 months of in class study) or
- Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time University or CEGEP, within the last four years. Eligibility period will be measured from the date shown on the graduate’s diploma.

 iv) Adult and Vocational Centres

- Part-time and full time students (working towards a diploma for a program consisting of the equivalent of two years or 16 months of in class study) or
- Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time Adult and Vocational program within the last four years. Eligibility period will be measured from the date shown on the graduate’s diploma.

 v) Additional Exceptions

- Individuals who reside in Canada and meet the eligibility requirements above from an accredited institution in the United States may be eligible, providing they meet requirements of "Eligible Individuals" described above
- The Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) in which students spend a portion of the term working in GM dealerships is eligible.
- Apprenticeship programs are eligible (enrolled or graduated).
- For CEGEP in Quebec, the DEC technical program is eligible.
- Certificate Programs consisting of 1 year or less are not eligible.

To show our appreciation and thanks, GM Canada is launching the all new GM Heroes Program with a $500 - $1000 (tax inclusive) offer, depending on model selected. This incentive can be used toward the purchase, finance or lease of an eligible new Chevrolet or Cadillac.

The following individuals are eligible:

  • Canadian Armed Forces Personnel: Active service personnel, current reservists, veterans and their respective spouses (including surviving)
  • First Responders: Active Canadian firefighters, police, EMT/paramedics, 9-1-1 dispatchers and their respective spouses
  • Professional Care Workers: Active nurses, doctors and professional healthcare workers at Canadian hospitals, clinics and retirement/nursing homes

To participate in the program, simply bring in your current or former proof of Canadian Forces membership, valid proof of current Canadian First Responder employment/government issued ID or valid proof of current practice at a Canadian hospital, clinic or retirement/nursing home.
